Dr. Crystal Folta DC CACCP
PRENATAL, PEDIATRIC, & FAMILY CHIROPRACTOR
I’ll always remember when chiropractic chose me. I was working for a chiropractor as an assistant when a 15-day-old baby came in with terrible reflux and was facing the possibility of invasive surgery. After the adjustment, the chiropractor helped the family look more closely at what might be contributing to the baby's symptoms, and they discovered that the formula was a contributing factor. Mom switched the formula, continued with wellness care, and ultimately the baby did not need surgery. In that moment, I realized that I didn’t have to be a surgeon to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I could help people by reconnecting their mind, body, and spirit; look at them as a whole instead of the symptoms that consume their lives.
That led me to Life University in Marietta, GA. I completed my Bachelor in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees while delving deep into the science, philosophy, and art of chiropractic.
While in GA and since graduating, I have completed over 300 additional course hours in pediatrics, prenatal, cranial, and autism care through the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) earning my CACCP and Epic Pediatrics. Through this program, I also became Webster Technique Certified to better care for pregnant women.
After graduating, I worked in a family practice in Georgia while awaiting the birth of my second child. My first birth experience and Jude's birth could not have been more different. Jude was born at exactly 42 weeks at an Airbnb, in a birthing pool, with a midwife. His birth was unexpectedly complicated, and he needed immediate attention after he was born. That experience changed me.
It gave me an entirely new perspective on pregnancy, birth, and those first moments with a newborn. I understood in a much deeper way how important it is to have people around you who listen, support, and advocate for you, especially when things don't go exactly as planned.
I realized how much I wanted to be that person for other families: someone who could hold space for their journey, listen to their story, and help connect them with the people and resources they need.
That experience strengthened my passion for prenatal, postpartum, newborn, and pediatric care, and for building a community where families feel heard, supported, and empowered.I am more than excited to see that community of dedicated birth workers grow and connect here in Kitsap.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me having impromptu picnics with my tiny humans, traveling the country to teach other chiropractors how to hone in on their analysis and adjusting skills, listening to podcasts (super junkie!), and writing a book or three! Watching my children grow up healthy in this beautiful community is everything. I am honored that to be able to help create a healthier and happier Kitsap!!
Dr. Jill Paisley DC
FAMILY AND PRENATAL CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Jill's journey into chiropractic care began with her own search for relief. After a series of auto accidents left her experiencing debilitating headaches related to head and neck trauma, she discovered chiropractic care and experienced a meaningful change in her own life.
That experience sparked a desire to help others, and in 1997 she began her career in healing and wellness as a massage therapist and Reiki master. She went on to graduate from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and spent the next 20 years building a thriving practice in San Diego.
In 2021, Dr. Jill was ready for a change of pace and began looking for a more tranquil place to call home. North Kitsap offered the calm and serenity she was looking for, along with a welcoming community and natural beauty.
As luck would have it, Dr. Jill eventually met Dr. Crystal (as her own chiropractor). That connection grew into an opportunity to join Looking Glass Chiropractic and bring her years of experience, knowledge, and passion for caring for others to the practice.
Outside of Looking Glass, Dr. Jill enjoys walking local trails with her two dogs and spending time at the record shop she co-owns with her wife in Poulsbo.
She is also a certified breathwork teacher and leads classes and retreats focused on breath, mindfulness, personal growth, and creating space for people to connect with themselves and their experiences.
We're so grateful that Dr. Jill's journey brought her to Looking Glass.

Luna Blu Dare
CARE ADVOCATE AND SCAN TECHNICIAN
Luna graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. During her time there, she worked alongside the Neuroscience of Happiness professor, David McCormick, who is also the Head of the Neuroscience Department and creator of the Center for the Science and Practice of Well-Being. Together, they created the Positive Psychology Club that has over 250 students enrolled, where they taught and discussed topics related to what makes people happy and how to implement them into our own lives. They led multiple meditation groups around campus, where they'd do sound baths, mindfulness, body scan, and loving-kindness meditations.
